Marxism

After discussing the works of Karl Marx in class on Tuesday, I came to a realization. Many people frown upon Marx's proposal to better society. I too do not agree with the majority of his ideas. That does not mean that his concept was ill conceived. The truth is that while Communism may look good on paper, it is worthless in society. It is the nature of human beings to be greedy, selfish, and self-centered. That is why a society based on minimal possessions, and communal property is falicy when put into practice within a community. So, even though Communism is in no way a solution to the inadequacies of society, Marx was simply trying to resolve the issues present in the corrupt government of his time.

I commented on Whitney B.'s post.
