Camoflauged Sin

Elaborating further on this topic now will just be beating a dead horse (poor, Raskolnikov...), but I wanted to talk about it before anyway.
Prostitution is a sin, and under no circumstance is it required. I believe the negligence of attempting to sustain one's self and their family members is justifiable if the only option to receive income is through prostitution, or any job that requires sinful action. And even then, I don't believe someone could get into that position. One could always pray for reprieve; one can always take up their family and travel (even if there is a headstrong guy somewhere around who would attempt to stop it); one can always scratch with every last breath they have toward something that will help themselves and those around them without delving into contemptual action.

What should she have done? Broke the law by rebelling. Or just go somewhere else. Everything is possible.

Prostitution = Sin, as Sex outside of Marriage = Sin. The two collaborate, and I stand firm with the belief that there is no such thing as a 'grey' area. If ever that were so (and I discount the story from Genesis entirely), that would directly imply that God can involve himself in sin. And that's just not true, according to the Bible.
